Trailer Assembler | 4-Day Workweek | Training Provided
Build Something You Can Be Proud Of — Every Day.
Since 1968, Cornhusker800 has been manufacturing high-quality commodity hopper trailers from our original location. We're looking for dependable, hardworking individuals who enjoy working with their hands and want to be part of a team that builds exceptional products from start to finish.
If you're reliable, mechanically inclined, and enjoy hands-on work, we'll provide the training you need to succeed.
No experience? No problem. If you have a strong work ethic and are eager to learn, we want to meet you.
Pay
  • Starting at $20.00+ per hour
  • Performance-based pay increases
  • Annual performance reviews with opportunities for raises
  • Weekly pay
Schedule
Full-Time
Monday–Thursday | 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Every Friday Off!
Enjoy a consistent 4-day workweek and a three-day weekend every week.

  • Health insurance (95% employer paid)
  • 401(k) with profit sharing
  • Paid holidays
  • Paid vacation
  • Weekly paychecks
  • Paid training
  • Company-provided tools and PPE
  • Long-term career opportunities with a stable, family-oriented manufacturer
  • Additional employee perks
What You'll Do
As a Trailer Assembler, you'll help build aluminum commodity hopper trailers from the ground up. This is a hands-on position where no two days are exactly alike.
Responsibilities include:
  • Assemble trailer components using blueprints and digital work instructions
  • Measure and fit aluminum components accurately
  • Drill holes and install fasteners
  • Operate hand tools, air tools, and power tools
  • Install rivets (experience with an air hammer is a plus, but we'll train you)
  • Inspect your work for quality and accuracy
  • Work independently and as part of a collaborative production team
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area
Unlike repetitive assembly line positions, this role offers variety throughout the day and the satisfaction of seeing a finished trailer come together.

  • Team-oriented with a strong work ethic
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Comfortable standing for up to 9 hours per shift
  • Able to climb ladders and work safely at heights when needed
Why Join Cornhusker800?
At Cornhusker800, you're more than just another employee—you become part of a team that has built quality trailers for more than 55 years. We value reliability, craftsmanship, and people who take pride in their work.
If you're looking for a stable career with excellent benefits, paid training, competitive pay, and a schedule that gives you every Friday off, we'd love to hear from you.
