Job description

Connect Staffing is hiring an experienced Electrical Assembler for a trailer manufacturing facility in Cypress, CA that builds and modifies electrical generator trailers. This is a temp-to-hire position ranging from $21.00- 24.00//hr., Monday-Friday with no weekends. In this role, you will assemble generator trailers from blueprints using hand tools, power tools, and compressor tools, and perform conduit wiring and soldering throughout the build process. The schedule is consistent with regular overtime available most weeks.
Pay: $21.00- $24.00/hr
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:45pm

Responsibilities
• Read and interpret blueprints to build and modify electrical generator trailers from start to finish.
• Perform conduit wiring and soldering on trailer electrical systems.
• Fabricate and fit metal components and assemblies as directed.
• Transport and position materials, supplies, and finished trailers using hand trucks and skids.
• Inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and verify accompanying paperwork.
• Collect and dispose of scrap bracing, cardboard, and strapping to maintain a clean and safe work area.
Minimum Requirements
• 6+ months of recent electrical or mechanical assembly experience, or experience in a similar hands-on manufacturing role.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and compressor tools.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with conduit wiring, soldering, or fabricating metal components.
• Prior work assembling trailers, utility vehicles, or heavy equipment.
• Familiarity with electrical components, wiring harnesses, or generator systems.
• Experience using hand trucks, skids, or moving heavy industrial assemblies.
• Background in HVAC, low-voltage electrical work, or electromechanical assembly.
• Ability to read and work from basic blueprints or work instructions.
