A nationally recognized law firm is seeking a Trademark Associate Attorney to join its Charlotte office.

This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in representing global brands, emerging companies, and established businesses in sophisticated trademark, brand protection, and intellectual property matters.

Ideal Background

3–6 years of trademark and brand management experience
• Experience with U.S. and international trademark clearance, prosecution, enforcement, and portfolio management preferred
• Experience handling trademark office actions, opposition and cancellation proceedings, and enforcement matters
• Experience advising clients on brand protection, trademark strategy, licensing, and IP-related agreements
• Familiarity with copyright, domain name, social media, and internet-related IP issues is a plus
• Strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills
• Ability to work directly with clients and manage trademark portfolios independently
• Excellent academic credentials
J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required
• North Carolina bar admission required or ability to become admitted
