An established firm based in New York City, New York with over 95+ years in practice is seeking a Patent Litigation Associate with 4+ years of experience to join their team in a hybrid work arrangement. This Patent Litigation Associate will have experience handling patent infringement litigation, inter partes reviews, and complex IP disputes, ensuring effective representation of clients in high-stakes matters before federal courts and the PTAB.

Salary range: $215,000-$280,000+ contingent on experience

Qualifications:
Admission to the New York State Bar in good standing
4+ years of experience handling patent litigation matters in federal court
Strong academic credentials with a JD from an accredited law school
Technical background or prior experience working with complex technologies
Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
Ability to manage multiple matters and work collaboratively with litigation teams

Responsibilities:
Draft and respond to pleadings, motions, and discovery in patent litigation matters
Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda on substantive and procedural issues
Assist with fact and expert discovery including depositions and document review
Support trial preparation and participate in hearings and proceedings
Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys on case strategy and client counseling
