The Home & Garden business unit of Spectrum Brands is based in St. Louis, Missouri with distribution, manufacturing and sales offices throughout the US and globe. Job Summary
The Trade Marketing Manager supports the development and execution of trade marketing strategies to drive brand visibility and sales performance across retail and distribution channels. This role collaborates closely with Sales, Marketing, and Category teams to ensure alignment with overall business objectives. This role will own the creation of retailer communication materials and present them directly to our retail partners. They will drive broker management and engagement across multiple sales channels. They will partner with our sales team to deliver new item innovation and other commercial objectives.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
  • Assist in planning and implementing trade marketing programs and promotions.
  • Creates and combines Product Line Review materials and ensures timely delivery to retail partners.
  • Create and manage Integrated Commercial Calendars to align business needs and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute channel-specific initiatives. Deliver these initiatives to retailers and ultimately our end consumers.
  • Monitor trade spending and ensure compliance with budget guidelines. Create promotional planning guidelines and individual trade plans by retail channel.
  • Identify ROI for trade events and create profitable promotional plans
  • Create and distribute trade-related reports on business performance and provide actionable insights.
  • Lead cross-functional workstreams for both trade initiatives and retailers
  • Manage timelines, deliverables, and stakeholders for multiple concurrent project

Education and Experience Profile
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, or related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in trade marketing, sales, or brand management.
  • Strong analytical and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • experience supporting CPG, retail, or consumer goods environments
  • Exposure to retailer execution, promotions, or go to market planning
  • Experience working cross functionally with Sales and Marketing teams
