Reporting to the Executive Director, Trade Finance, the Trade Finance and Customer Service Operations Analyst will play a critical role in supporting data-driven decision-making across Trade Finance, Commercial Operations, and Customer Service.
This role is primarily focused on analytics, reporting, and cross-functional business support, leveraging data from multiple systems (ERP, 3PL, and commercial platforms) to generate insights, improve processes, and support financial and operational performance. Analyze large datasets across ERP, 3PL, and commercial systems to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for operational and financial improvement; work with leadership to identify, address and close gross to net revenue leakage areas.
Translate data into actionable insights and recommendations for cross-functional stakeholders.
Support forecasting, accruals, and financial analysis related to trade programs and distribution activities.
Trade Finance & Operational Support
Support trade finance activities including pricing validation, chargeback and rebate analysis, and contract alignment.
Partner with Finance and Commercial teams to ensure accurate financial reporting tied to customer activity and distribution flows.
Assist in resolving discrepancies across order, pricing, and financial data impacting revenue recognition and customer billing.
Data Management & Reconciliation
Reconcile data across multiple systems (ERP, 3PL, customer systems) to ensure consistency and accuracy in orders, shipments, and financial reporting.
Identify and investigate data inconsistencies, root causes, and implement corrective actions.
Maintain high data integrity across customer, product, pricing, and contract master data.
Cross-Functional Projects & Process Improvement
Lead or support special projects focused on process optimization, system enhancements, and reporting automation.
Partner with IT and business stakeholders to improve data flows, reporting capabilities, and system integration.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce manual processes and increase scalability and accuracy.
Operational & Customer Service Support
Provide analytical support to customer service and operations teams by monitoring order flow, fulfillment metrics, and issue resolution trends.
Assist in exception management related to orders, shipments, and returns as needed.
Skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with large, complex datasets.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, data modeling); experience with Power BI or Tableau preferred.
  • Ability to synthesize data into clear insights and communicate findings to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with Finance, Supply Chain, IT, and Commercial teams.
  • Process-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and automation.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Analytics, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • 4-6+ years of experience in business analysis, finance, sales operations, or related roles within the pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare industry.
