Position Purpose:
The Trade Finance Specialist will assist in the management of Lindt's Trade Management System to ensure a standard and controlled system that will track and measure the performance of all trade promotions and non-promotional spend. You will work closely with Lindt's internal and external sales force, including Directors, Regional Business Managers, National Account Managers, and Brokers to improve the accuracy and timeliness of all promotional and non-promotional activity.
This is a hybrid role that requires three days per week in our Stratham, NH corporate office.
Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:
  • Provide in-depth analytical reports on the total liability that remains open for a given fiscal period.
  • Provide specific analysis of open deductions by researching and classifying the deductions as internal, external or invalid deductions.
  • Confirm trade spend is posted to the correct promotional program (G/L codes) and track the closing/canceling of trade plans to help understand our financial liability.
  • Research Post Audits by using the Trade Management System to validate whether a promotional or non-promotional expense was already reimbursed to a customer for a specific program.
  • Reconcile and research deductions for quick resolution against promotional programs, including obtaining proper documentation, and researching any discrepancies versus plan.
  • Support ad hoc trade planning and setup in the TPM system based on business needs.
  • Work cross-functionally with Sales, Commercial Finance, and RGM to review the P&L and provide trade-related explanations and detail

Qualifications & Requirements:
Skills & Knowledge:
  • 2 -3 years Trade Management and Customer Service background; Accounting a plus
  • Trade Management software operating system experience
    • Knowledge of outside sales activities, including promotions and price exceptions
    • Manage and develop strategic relationships with internal & external business partners
  • Demonstrated commitment to teamwork and internal client service orientation
  • Effective communication, organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong demonstrated knowledge of ERP system; JD Edwards or SAP is a plus

Education:
  • Bachelor's in finance or related degree required

Other Requirements:
  • Travel 5%

Compensation Range: $54,4870 - $70,813

Lindt USA's salary range reflects market rates based on our size, revenue, and location. Starting pay is determined using a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, job-related skills, knowledge, and experience as well as market conditions. A bonus and/or long-term incentive may be included as part of this compensation package.
