Combined, the company has over 300 years of experience providing fresh juice, packaging and distribution solutions to the food service, retail and contract packaging industries.
Job Description
Receives, stores, and distributes raw and finished goods, materials, tools, equipment, and products within establishment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
Conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas.
Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
Sorts and stores perishable goods in refrigerated rooms or freezers.
Responds to requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributes items to production workers or assembly line.
Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves, or conveys orders to packing station or shipping department.
Marks materials with identifying information and records amounts of
materials or items received or distributed.
Properly utilizes the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to reflect production, shipping, receiving and inventory data.
Weighs or counts items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards.
Arranges stock materials in specified sequence for assembly by other workers.
Compiles load diagrams in accordance with customer specifications.
Drives vehicle to transport stored items from warehouse to plant or to pick up items from several locations for shipment.
Prepares samples or other parcels for mailing.
Follows instructions and responds to management or lead direction.
Writes and speaks clearly and informatively and able to read and interpret written information.
Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and completes work in timely manner.
Able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events and reacts well under pressure.
Follows policies and procedures and uses equipment and materials properly.
Observes safety and security procedures and reports potentially unsafe conditions.
Strives to continuously build knowledge and skills.
Is consistently at work and on time and commits to long hours of work when necessary to reach goals.
Maintains inventory records and performs cycle counts as necessary.
Possesses the Skills and Knowledge, and able to meet the Physical Demands and perform in the work environment described in the Work Environment section below.

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or six to twelve months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills
Ability to competently and accurately operate a hand held Warehouse Management System Scanning Device.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Must posses (or attain within seven (7) working days of initial hire or placement in this position) and maintain a current and valid forklift and pallet jack operator's license.
