Assistant Township Manager Whitemarsh Township Montgomery County, PA Full-Time | Exemp Whitemarsh Township is seeking a motivated and collaborative professional to serve as Assistant Township Manager. This position supports the Township Manager in overseeing daily operations, coordinating departments, and advancing key initiatives. About Whitemarsh Township Whitemarsh Township is a 14.53 square mile municipality located in southeastern Montgomery County with roughly 20,000 residents. Whitemarsh Township is a vibrant community committed to providing exceptional municipal services and maintaining high-quality public infrastructure. The Township values innovation, accountability, teamwork, and customer service in serving its residents and businesses. Key Responsibilities Assist with management of Township operations and departmental coordination Support budgeting, financial analysis, purchasing, and contracts Manage communications and information technology including website, social media, and newsletters Oversee hiring and personnel processes Coordinate grants and special projects Attend Board and community meetings (evenings/weekends required) Serve as Acting Township Manager as needed Qualifications Bachelors degree in public administration, business, or related field (Masters preferred) 35 years of local government or related experience Strong communication and organizational skills Experience with budgeting, HR, and project management preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office; GIS a plus Valid drivers license required Work Location 616 Germantown Pike, Lafayette Hill, PA (with local travel required) Compensation Competitive salary range: $115,000 to $130,000.
