Job description

What We Need 

Corpay is seeking a strategic and commercially driven executive to lead the growth, profitability, and long-term evolution of its proprietary Fuelman merchant network. The SVP, Fuelman Network will be responsible for expanding network acceptance, improving network economics, strengthening merchant and partner relationships, and increasing the overall value of one of Corpay's most important competitive assets. This role combines strategy, business development, pricing, operations, and team leadership. The successful candidate will bring a builder's mindset and a proven ability to drive growth, simplify complexity, and create value through strong commercial execution.

Role Responsibilities 

The responsibilities of the role will include: 

  • Developing and executing the long-term strategy for Fuelman's proprietary merchant network.
  • Strategically expanding network coverage and merchant participation.
  • Building and managing executive relationships with key merchants, partners, and industry stakeholders.
  • Negotiating strategic agreements that enhance network value, profitability, and competitive differentiation.
  • Identifying growth opportunities, partnership models, and revenue streams that drive value for customers, merchants, and Corpay.
  • Representing Fuelman externally with key merchants, partners, and industry organizations.
  • Owning network operational and financial performance.
  • Optimizing merchant pricing and commercial models to drive profitability and competitive advantage.
  • Leading expansion and revenue management of the Multi-Issue Program and the Mastercard Easy Savings Program.
  • Improving merchant onboarding, activation, and operational effectiveness across the network.
  • Simplifying processes and operating models to improve speed, transparency, and scalability.
  • Improving data quality for customers, merchants, and for Corpay decision-making and execution.
  • Establishing operating disciplines and performance metrics that drive accountability and results.
  • Leading and developing a team across network sales, onboarding, and operations.
  • Establishing clear ownership, accountability, and decision-making frameworks.
  • Building the capabilities, talent, and operating model required to support long-term growth.
  • Partnering closely with other functional areas to align network strategy with broader
  • Managing Network financial audit and controls to meet quarterly and annual regulatory/auditor requirements.

Qualifications & Skills 

  • 12+ years of leadership experience in payments, fleet, fuel, financial services, network businesses, marketplaces, or related industries.
  • Demonstrated success leading growth-oriented businesses, networks, partnerships, and/or commercial organizations.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen, including experience managing complex economic models and pricing strategies.
  • Experience negotiating and managing large strategic relationships.
  • Track record of driving business transformation, operational simplification, and performance improvement.
  • Experience building and leading high-performing teams through growth and change.
  • Strategic thinker with strong commercial instincts.
  • Builder who creates value and drives growth.
