OrthoCarolinais seeking a qualified professional to join our Human Resources team as a Total Rewards Analyst.

As a Total Rewards Analyst, you will support the organization's compensation programs through market research, data analysis, job evaluations, and compensation benchmarking. This role assists with the implementation and maintenance of compensation initiatives, provides analytical support for compensation decisions, and serves as a key resource for program administration, audits, reporting, and project execution. The analyst leverages HR systems and data to drive insights, support critical business processes, and ensure the effectiveness of compensation programs across the organization.

Essential Functions:

  • Provides analytical support in the administration and compliance of compensation and benefit programs.
  • Researches, compiles, audits, analyzes, and summarizes data for routine and/or special projects or reports.
  • Actively participates in a wide range of projects across the compensation and benefits disciplines.
  • Maintains accurate compensation and benefit data within the HRIS system.
  • Supports projects and activities associated with compensation analysis, variable/base compensation processing and recommendations for tactical improvements.
  • Participates in compensation and benefits surveys by submitting data to various sources/vendors and analyzes survey results against OC's data.
  • Reconciles monthly benefit premium invoices and works with Finance on company allocations.
  • Supports payroll activities and reconciliations for biweekly, monthly, and off cycle pay.
  • Directly assists in all benefit day-to-day operations, including eligibility/enrollment updates, vendor coordination, and team member support.
  • Assists with special benefit projects including open enrollment, plan audits, and annual compliance requirements.
  • Supports the administration of team member leaves and accommodations.
  • Assists with the creation and review of compensation and benefits User Guides for Workday.
  • Tests and audits applications, reports and interfaces. Recommends and implements remedial actions for improving processes/systems.
  • Consults with employees regarding their questions and handles employee/vendor escalations.
  • Conducts benefits orientation as necessary.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills, with ability to interpret data, detect trends, draw conclusions and formulate recommendations.
  • Ability to work independently as well as a strong team player
  • Strong understanding of Total Reward programs, including market driven and variable compensation programs and benefit plan design.
  • Strong understanding of compensation and benefits compliance requirements.
  • Proven knowledge and application of HR practices, principles and applicable laws and regulations.
  • Proficiency of MS Office Tools; Advanced proficiency in Excel required.
  • High degree of HR skills required to deal with confidential and sensitive situations and to maintain a positive relationship with other areas of the company.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking, problem solving, financial modeling, and project management skills as well as ability to apply technology to business processes.
  • Ability to work with large quantities of data and multiple spreadsheets while maintaining accuracy.
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a demanding work environment; proven ability to perform effectively in a rapidly changing environment. Must be results oriented with ability to change priorities as needed.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; strong oral and written communication skills.

Qualifications:

Education required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Accounting or Finance
  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) and/or Certified Benefits Professional (CBP) training or designation preferred.

Experience required:

  • 3-5 years of Benefits and/or Compensation experience.
  • Experience with HRIS/payroll systems (Workday preferred) and multiple external benefit vendor partner reporting systems.
