Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of certain U.S. facilities and external facilities consultants and vendors
  • Provide in-house expertise on office maintenance, renovations and buildouts
  • Provide in-house expertise on health & safety regulations, U.S. business continuity and disaster recovery
  • Act as the day-to-day liaison and oversee relevant lease and subleases
  • Oversee the front of house office activities for the U.S. offices and related staff
  • Provide strategic analysis and oversight of any new leases or subleases
  • Oversee the budgeting and forecasting of the running costs relating to relevant U.S. offices
  • Support the Chief Operating Officer on any special related strategic projects

Requirements

  • At least 5 years' of Facilities project management experience in a professional services company or firm
  • Experience supporting a geographically dispersed company
  • University degree or commensurate experience
  • Experience in contract negotiations and vendor management
  • Strong leadership qualities
  • Experience in managing and mentoring employees
  • Exceptional organizational skills

The salary range for this role is between:

$138,750 - $185,000

The annualized base pay range is a broad range based on analysis of similar positions in the market. The actual base pay for the position may be above or below the listed range and determined by a number of considerations, including but not limited to complexity, location, and scope of the role, along with experience, skills, education, training, and other conditions of employment. Base salary represents one component of Allied World's comprehensive total reward package, which may also include annual incentive compensation rewards
