HR Global Head of COE Reward, Director

Location: Kortrijk, BE

We are seeking an experienced and inspirational HR Global Head of COE Reward, Director to lead and shape our global reward strategy.

In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing global benefits, compensation, and providing legal support to our business. You will work closely with the Global HR team and the Business management teams of Barco, ensuring that our reward strategies align with our organizational goals and values.

You will be able to rely on a professional and competent team of Reward colleagues all over the world. You act with authority and respect for the internal regulations and external legislation and manage your stakeholders accordingly. You support the Remuneration Committee and ensure robust governance of executive remuneration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Global Benefits Management: Design, implement, and manage comprehensive global benefits programs that attract, retain, and motivate our diverse workforce.
  • Compensation Strategy: Develop and execute competitive compensation strategies that align with industry standards and support our business objectives.
  • Legal Support: Provide expert legal guidance on compensation and benefits matters, ensuring compliance with global regulations and best practices.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with the Global HR team and Business Units to understand their needs and deliver tailored reward solutions.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and inspire a global team of reward professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
  • Reporting Line: You will report into the Chief HR Officer and will be part of the HR Leadership team.
Qualifications
  • Strong legal background (masterโ€™s in law), combined with international experience and a global mindset.
  • Proven track record of 10+ years in Compensation & Benefits, total rewards, job classification frameworks, and HR policy design.
  • Extensive experience in remuneration practices, including compensation governance and the design of short- and long-term variable pay programs (e.g. STI, LTI, equityโ€‘based incentives, sales commissions).
  • Strong people leadership skills, including the ability to coach, develop, and engage teams while driving performance and impact.
  • A positive, opportunityโ€‘driven outlook, you thrive in dynamic environments and lead with agility and confidence.
  • Strong project leadership capabilities paired with a naturally collaborative spirit.
  • The ability to translate strategy into action, mobilizing teams and inspiring others to deliver with purpose.
