We are looking for a full-time Clinical Assistant in our Belmont office. The schedule is Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm.
The Clinical Assistantis responsible forproviding and coordinating orthopedic patient care which includes performing routine office procedures and testing,participatingin patient teaching, communicating effectively with others, and partnering with the physician/mid-level provider in the delivery of patient care.

CMA/RMA must be registered/certified through one of the following national organizations: American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), NationalHealthCareerAssociation (NHA), American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA), American Medical Technologists (AMT), or American Medical Certification Association (AMCA)
A typical day for the clinical assistant involves collaborating with and providing clinical and administrative support to the healthcare practitioner to ensure the delivery of high quality, compassionate patient care.The clinical assistant greets patients as they escort them to the exam room.They obtain and document past medical/surgical histories, vitals, patientmedicationsand allergies in the EHR system (EPIC). This roleassiststhe practitioner with patient examinations, treatments, and in-office procedures, in addition to cleaning and sterilizing rooms and equipment after each encounter. Some day-to-day tasks include suture/staple removal,assistingwith casting/bracing, andassistingwith injections. A pivotal job function for our clinical assistants is to educate patients through booklets/instruction sheets prior to minor proceduresin accordance withphysician instruction. This position will also orchestrate administrative duties which may include ordering supplies, stocking rooms, responding to patient messages, prescription refill requests, filing documents, and monitoring work queues in the EHR system.
