    • Power sockets (1/2” to 3 1/2” drive, specialty configurations)
    • Consumables & accessories (burrs, chisels, hoses, lubricators)

This is a relationship + repeat business sales role, not one-off transactions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify opportunities for tool sales, rentals, and ongoing repair programs
  • Build a pipeline of high-frequency, repeat customers

  • Follow up consistently to close deals and increase order size
  • Cross-sell accessories, sockets, and refurbished tools

Field Presence

  • Visit job sites, plants, and customer facilities regularly

  • Coordinate with inside sales and shop to ensure fast turnaround

Ideal Candidate

  • 2–5+ years of outside sales experience in:
    • Industrial supply
    • Tooling/equipment
    • Rentals (Sunbelt, United Rentals, etc.)
    • Oil & gas / plant services
  • Strong preference for candidates familiar with:
    • Pneumatic tools
    • Maintenance operations (MRO)
    • Industrial job site environments
  • Proven ability to:
    • Generate new business
    • Build long-term customer relationships
    • Close deals and hit revenue targets
  • Self-motivated, competitive, and comfortable working in the field daily

Compensation Structure (Recommended)

  • Base Salary + Commission

Territory

  • Greater Houston area (Deer Park, Pasadena, Baytown, La Porte, Channelview, etc.)
  • Heavy focus on plants, refineries, and industrial corridors

Why This Role Wins

  • Multiple revenue streams = easier to sell (tools + repairs + rentals)
  • High repeat business from industrial customers
  • Ability to build a book of business quickly
  • Small company = less red tape, faster decisions, higher earning potential
