Role Overview:
The Finance Manager position is primarily responsible for assisting with all aspects of revenue and cost reporting for our Olympics business. This role will report to the Finance Director of the Olympics and assist in preparing and providing month-end and event-related reports. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, passion for accuracy, advanced excel skills, a desire to learn and an ability to identify anomalies in the reporting.
This person must possess the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment, adapt on the fly, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
โ€ข Oversee financial performance and reporting across venue hospitality programs
โ€ข Produce reports that summarize venue hospitality performance to be used in conjunction with recurring meetings with Product and Production leadership
โ€ข Support journal preparation and review for balance sheet and income statement adjustments throughout the business cycle
โ€ข Perform venue income statement variance analysis against budget, forecast and actuals
โ€ข Partner with the Product function to analyze and adapt current commercial offerings to market demands and sales performance to ensure maximum profitability
โ€ข Manage small team of analysts to deliver on business projects and objectives
โ€ข Assist with month, quarter, and year-end close requests
โ€ข Assist with the preparation/maintenance of key business processes and control
โ€ข Support the settlement of the LA28 Olympic Games
โ€ข Respond to various ad-hoc requests
You Have These:
โ€ข Minimum 3 years of progressive finance or FP&A experience
โ€ข Accounting or Finance degree required, CPA a plus
โ€ข Strong analytical and technical accounting skills, as well as excellent attention to detail
โ€ข Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
โ€ข Ability to learn and digest new things quickly
โ€ข Strong organizational skills with ability to multi-task
โ€ข Passion for international environment
Per local requirements and in the interest of transparency, the hourly rate shown below reflects the prevalent current hiring range for this position. Hiring pay rates are based on a number of factors, including location and may vary depending on job-related qualifications, knowledge, skills and experience. The company strives to provide locally competitive rewards packages, which include base rate along with, as applicable, short- and long-term incentives, growth and developmental opportunities, and robust benefits, such as health care, retirement, vacation and other paid time off, and additional offerings.
Hiring Rate Minimum:
$75,000 annually(minimum will not fall below the applicable State/local minimum salary thresholds)
Hiring Rate Maximum:
$100,000 annually
