Title Clerk Manager

Pritchard Companies is seeking an experienced Title Operations Manager to lead and oversee title processing operations across the organization. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with title, registration, licensing, and tax regulations while driving operational excellence, consistency, and efficiency throughout the title function.

The ideal candidate brings deep automotive title expertise, leadership experience, and a passion for building scalable processes and developing teams.

What You'll Do
  • Lead daily title processing operations and establish priorities, workflows, and service standards
  • Serve as the escalation point for complex title issues and exception processing
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local title, registration, tax, and licensing requirements
  • Develop and maintain controls, procedures, and documentation standards
  • Lead, coach, train, and develop title processing personnel
  • Drive process improvements and operational efficiencies through workflow and technology enhancements
  • Build strong relationships with dealerships, lenders, vendors, regulatory agencies, and customers
  • Monitor operational metrics, analyze trends, and provide recommendations to leadership
  • Support staffing, workload planning, and employee development
What We're Looking For

Required:

  • 5+ years of direct automotive title processing experience
  • 2+ years of leadership, supervisory, team lead, training, or operational oversight experience
  • Extensive knowledge of title, registration, tax, and licensing regulations
  • Experience managing high-volume title operations
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills

Preferred:

  • Multi-location dealership group experience
  • Minnesota title processing expertise
  • Experience supporting title operations across multiple states

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree
