Job Summary
We are seeking an in person Property Accounting Specialist to join our team! As a Property Accounting Specialist, your responsibilities will include , managing payables and receivables for the properties, preparing reconciliations, as well as general office management tasks.  You will also review daily banking activity, process cash receipts, and reconcile transactions. The ideal candidate has accounting experience in the real estate industry, exceptional time management skills, and strong attention to detail. 
Responsibilities 
  • Handle payables and receivables for the multiple properties
  • Assist with tenant and vendor reconciliations as needed
  • Oversee daily banking transactions and reconciliation with cash receipts
  • Act as the primary point of contact for vendor payment inquiries and tenant billing questions.
  • Answer phone calls, emails, and manage incoming/outgoing mail.
  • Provide administrative support to property managers, including drafting correspondence and updating lease files.
  • Order and maintain office supplies.
  • Maintain digital and physical filing systems for compliance and audit readiness.

Qualifications
  • 2+ years of recent experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, or high-volume billing, preferably in property management.
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as Yardi, AppFolio, Timberline, or QuickBooks.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills (data entry, basic formulas, reconciliation).
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • Excellent communication skills for vendor and tenant interaction.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
