About the role:
The Project Manager oversees our residential pool renovation projects from concept to completion. The Project Manager is a natural leader with a passion for construction, a keen eye for detail, and an unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction. They will be the central point of contact for clients, crews, and vendors, ensuring every project is completed on time, within budget, and to our high-quality standards.
What you'll do:
  • Project Planning & Scheduling: Develop comprehensive project timelines, coordinate crew schedules (demolition, plumbing, tile, plaster, etc.), and ensure the timely ordering and delivery of all materials and equipment.
  • Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for homeowners. Conduct initial site meetings, provide regular progress updates, answer questions, and manage client expectations throughout the entire remodeling process.
  • On-Site Supervision: Actively manage and supervise on-site construction activities.Ensure all work, including tile, coping, plaster, and equipment installation is performed correctly, safely, and according to the project plans.
  • Budget Management: Monitor project costs, track expenses, and manage the budget to ensure profitability. Approve subcontractor and vendor invoices.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular site inspections to guarantee workmanship meets our company's high standards and industry best practices. Create and manage punch lists to ensure a flawless final product.
  • Team & Vendor Coordination: Liaise with and manage in-house crews, subcontractors, and suppliers. Foster positive working relationships to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Problem Solving: Proactively identify and resolve any on-site issues, challenges, or delays that may arise, minimizing impact on the project timeline and budget.
  • Permitting & Compliance: Coordinate with local municipalities to ensure all necessary permits are secured and that all final inspections are passed successfully.
  • Change Orders: Discuss, develop and get signed approval from customers on change orders for items that may change or be added to an existing project or contract.

What we are looking for:
  • To effectively perform the duties for this position, individuals must be able to demonstrate competencies that are essential to the position, which include:
  • 3-5 years of experience in project management or field operations within construction, trades, or home/outdoor services.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and lead cross-functional teams.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Working knowledge of scheduling, budgeting, and estimating practices.
  • Proficiency in project management software and field operations systems.
  • Understanding of OSHA and general job-site safety requirements.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel between project sites as needed.
  • Being bilingual (English/Spanish) is a significant plus.

Physical Requirements/Work Environment:
  • Regularly visits active job sites and outdoor environments.
  • Involves standing, walking, climbing, and lifting up to 50 lbs. as needed.
  • Requires use of PPE and adherence to all safety standards.
  • Occasional office work for scheduling, reporting, and coordination.
  • Travel between projects within the assigned market is required.
