Job description

About the Role:

The Ticket Puller plays a vital role in warehouse operations by accurately pulling, staging, and preparing customer orders for shipment. This position is responsible for reading and interpreting order information, locating materials using warehouse systems, and ensuring orders are assembled correctly and efficiently. The Ticket Puller works closely with the shipping and warehouse teams to maintain inventory accuracy, support timely order fulfillment, and uphold quality control standards. Success in this role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, safe equipment operation, and a strong commitment to teamwork, safety, and the company’s core values.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Ensure a high level of customer service is always provided
  • Read customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be pulled, gathered, and stagged
  • Transfer materials from storage or work sites to the designated area by hand or using a hand truck, electric dolly, or forklift
  • Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence, such as size, type, or product code, using a radio frequency gun (RF gun)
  • Determine the location for retrieval of items using a radio frequency gun (RF gun)
  • Maintain and compile records as required, including the record of inventory
  • Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves, or transfer orders to the packing station or the shipping department
  • Practice quality control measures to ensure order accuracy
  • May assist in maintaining a clean/orderly warehouse and yard
  • Perform other various duties, as outlined by the supervisor
  • Exude, understand, and demonstrate actions according to the Company’s core values. These core values are courage, commitment, collaboration, compassion, ownership, and optimism

Qualifications and Physical Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Willingness to participate in pre-employment and random drug screenings
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs.
  • Ability to safely drive a forklift
  • Ability to work in excessively hot and cold conditions due to the outside environment of the warehouse
