Job description

Thrive By 5 is a pediatric therapy agency providing services to children birth-5 years old. We are seeking a strong part time or full time Occupational Therapists to provide early intervention and/or CPSE services in Monroe County. We take great pride in the work we do and have a strong reputation in the field.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
The essential duties and responsibilities are not limited to the following:
  • Work 1:1 with developmentally delayed children and their families using an embedded coaching model to provide support, information, and skills to promote generalization/maintenance of goals and enhance the development of the child
  • Provide home and community based occupational therapy, which includes reviewing IFSP/IEP goals and objectives
  • Collaborate with other service providers to support IFSP/IEP goals and objectives, including Speech Therapists, Physical Therapists, and Special Instructors
  • Complete session notes and progress reports as required by the Early Intervention/CPSE program

Qualifications:
  • M.A. or M.S. degree in Occupational Therapy
  • NYS License in Occupational Therapy required
  • Must demonstrate excellent written, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Must be able to collaborate with the clinical team and all related service providers on a caseload
