Position Summary
We're seeking a?Full-Time Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)?to join our dynamic therapy team. The PTA will work under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist to deliver personalized, hands-on care that promotes recovery, mobility, and functional independence for patients in their homes.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist patients with prescribed therapeutic exercises and activities to improve strength, flexibility, and balance
  • Implement individualized treatment plans developed by the supervising Physical Therapist
  • Monitor, document, and report patient progress and condition changes in a timely manner
  • Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, mobility strategies, and safety techniques
  • Prepare and maintain a clean, safe treatment environment
  • Assist patients with transfers and mobility training during therapy sessions
  • Collaborate with the therapy team and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, comprehensive care
  • Maintain accurate patient records in accordance with company and regulatory standards

Qualifications
  • Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program (required)
  • Bachelor's degree (preferred)
  • Active?Kansas PTA license?through the?Kansas Board of Healing Arts (KSBHA)?(required)
  • Minimum?1 year of PTA experience?(required);?2+ years?and home health experience preferred
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and time management skills
  • Dependable, self-motivated, and compassionate
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
