About USA Insulation
USA Insulation is a leading provider of insulation services, committed to improving energy efficiency, reducing environmental impact, and enhancing comfort in residential and commercial properties. We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Insulation Technician to join our team and contribute to our mission of delivering high-quality insulation solutions.
Job Summary
As an Installer Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the proper installation of insulation materials in residential and commercial buildings. Your work will contribute to energy efficiency, temperature regulation, and the overall comfort of our clients' spaces. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and a commitment to quality workmanship. WE ARE WILLING TO TRAIN THE RIGHT CANDIDATE.
Key Responsibilities
  • Install a variety of insulation materials, such as fiberglass and foam, in residential and commercial properties.
  • Measure and cut insulation materials to fit specific spaces accurately.
  • Seal gaps and joints to ensure effective insulation and energy efficiency.
  • Safely operate equipment, such as blowers or sprayers, to distribute insulation materials.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure proper disposal of waste materials.
  • Adhere to safety guidelines and use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to complete projects efficiently and on schedule.

Qualifications
  • No "insulation" experience required but is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of siding, home building, drills and hand tools, preferred
  • Have a valid driver license and good driving record
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate and efficient insulation.
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs frequently.
  • Must be able to work on ladders up to 28ft
  • Must be able to stand, kneel, bend, crawl, climb ladders, and work in tight or confined spaces for extended periods.
  • Must be able to work in hot, cold, or humid environments, including attics, crawlspaces, and other non-climate-controlled areas.
  • Ability to wear required PPE, including respirators, gloves, goggles, and protective clothing.
Work Environment:
  • Exposure to dust, fiberglass, and other insulation materials.
  • Work is performed both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Use of ladders, scaffolding, and power tools required.

Wage Range: $18 - $19 an hour
