2nd Shift: 4:30pm - 1:00am with daily and weekend OT as needed.
Pay Rate: $27.00
Plus Shift Differential: $2.00 per hour

Job Description:
The position will be responsible to find work orders and ensure to use correct material and set-up to produce a quality part. The successful incumbent will be detail oriented, able to follow instructions well, and work well in a team atmosphere.
Education / Experience / Certifications:
  • High school diploma or GED preferred but not required
  • Previous experience in operating a threader is preferred but not required

Activities / Tasks:
Depending upon which assembly operation the incumbent is performing, he or she may be required to:
  1. Pull correct part off cart by using work order identification
  2. Identify correct chasers
  3. Reading drawings for proper fabrication of parts
  4. Cut threads to correct length and depth
  5. Identify parts and place on skid to be delivered to proper location
  6. Use hand tools and read a tape measure

Skills and Abilities:
  • Ability to read from paper instructions
  • Ability to adapt to change and flex his/her work at appropriate times so as to support production needs
  • Ability to safely and effectively choose and operate hand tools (manual, pneumatic and electrical)
  • Ability to read a tape measure in metric and imperial standards
  • Ability to plan work and select correct chasers
  • Ability to compare and accurately determine difference in size, shape, and form of objects
  • Ability to work within precise limits and/or standards of accuracy
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work well with others
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Ability to follow and understand directions
