Job description

Job Title: Production Associate

Location: 69 Meadowbrook Drive-Milford, NH 03055

Duration: 6 months

Job Description: This role is primarily responsible for the efficient and quality setup and operation of grinding and thread rolling machines in a safe and orderly manner while maximizing production output using efficient and effective methods.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
•       Troubleshoot and perform offsets to centerless grinders and thread roller as needed
•       Set up operating parameters for centerless grinders and thread rollers
•       Select equipment, grinding wheels, blades, coolants, filtration systems, rollers
•       Use Lead checker, Comparator, micrometer and Tri mic
•       Some computer work
•       Maintain clean a safe work area
•       Work with minimal supervision
SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
•       Math skills
•       Strong fine motor skills
•       Good manual dexterity and visual acuity to manipulate micrometers, calipers and other precision hand tools
•       Basic computer knowledge
•       High school degree or GED
•       1+ years machine operation experience
Additional Characteristics:
•       This position may require standing for long periods of time, up to 8 hours per day
•       Requires the ability to lift 30+ lbs. occasionally, 20-30 lbs. frequently, and up to 20 lbs. constantly
•       This position may be exposed to various industrial cleaning chemicals and oils
