Description:

Job Summary:
The Analyst, Channel Operations plays a key role in enabling and optimizing third-party distribution channels through effective data management, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration. This position partners with internal stakeholders and external distributors to ensure accurate data transmission, streamline operations, and support strategic channel initiatives.
duties and responsibilities:
  • Provide day-to-day support for channel operations, assisting with data alignment and reconciliation between internal systems and external distribution partners
  • Monitor and validate data across third-party platforms to ensure accuracy and escalate discrepancies as needed
  • Collaborate with Sales, Analytics, and internal teams to support channel processes and respond to operational requests
  • Support multiple operational initiatives, including both as a external representative of MHE operations as well as partner with stakeholders internally as a SME for distribution processes
  • Partners with Sales and GTM teams on channel operation processes and support dispute escalation as directed by the Sr Director

Job requirements:
Education Requirement:
Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience.
Experience Requirement:
5+ years of applicable experience.
Skills and Experience:
Required:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Proficiency in data management tools (e.g., Excel - advanced formulas, pivot tables; experience with CRM or ERP systems preferred)
  • Ability to manage and reconcile large datasets across multiple systems
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across internal teams and external partners
  • Process improvement mindset with experience identifying inefficiencies and driving operational enhancements
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Basic understanding of data governance, metadata management, and system integrations preferred

Preferred:
  • Detailed working knowledge of course material distribution landscape in the Higher Education market.
  • Exposure to data analysis tools (such as Power BI, Tableau or Alteryx)
  • Experience using Business Intelligence queries or SQL.
