Role and Accountabilities:
- We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior ServiceNow Technical Consultant to design, develop, and implement complex ServiceNow solutions with a strong emphasis on system integrations, CMDB development, and automation via PowerShell scripting.
- The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise in the ServiceNow platform, particularly in Integration Hub, Mid Server configuration, and CMDB data modelling and populating.
- You will work directly with clients to understand their technical requirements and translate them into robust, scalable, and maintainable solutions.
Candidates will be experienced in leading ServiceNow engagements end to end, in addition, the successful candidate(s) will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following duties:
- Lead the technical design and development of ServiceNow integrations with various enterprise systems (e.g., HRIS, ERP, Monitoring Tools, Cloud Platforms).
- Utilize ServiceNow Integration Hub for building and managing complex integration workflows.
- Develop and implement integrations using various methods including REST/SOAP APIs, JDBC, scripting (JavaScript, PowerShell), and other integration patterns.
- Provide expertise in data mapping, transformation, and error handling for integrations.
- Design, configure, deploy, and manage ServiceNow MID Servers for facilitating communication between ServiceNow and internal networks.
- Troubleshoot MID Server connectivity, performance, and security issues.
- Ensure MID Server best practices are followed for high availability and load balancing.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in CMDB design, implementation, and maintenance.
- Develop and extend CMDB data models, CI classes, and relationships based on client requirements.
- Configure and optimize ServiceNow Discovery and Service Mapping to populate and maintain the CMDB.
- Implement CMDB health dashboards and governance policies to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Develop and maintain robust PowerShell scripts for automating various IT operations, data manipulation, system integrations, and CMDB population tasks.
- Integrate PowerShell scripts with ServiceNow workflows and orchestrations.
- Provide expertise in PowerShell best practices, error handling, and security.
- Work closely with Solution Architects and clients to translate business requirements into technical specifications and viable ServiceNow solutions.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior consultants and client technical teams.
- Lead technical workshops and design sessions.
- Ensure all technical solutions adhere to best practices, security standards, and performance requirements.
