Job description

  • Advanced problem-solving support, lead and assistance in various complex situations.
  • Provide support for the creation, maintenance, and debugging data integration and Discovery jobs/schedules.
  • Provide support in managing the ServiceNow environments (Dev, Test and Production).
  • Lead and provide ServiceNow support and adhering to Change Management processes, Asset Management processes, Business Management processes, Service Management processes.
  • Ownership and lead tasks towards ensuring ServiceNow ITAM/CMDB integrity (data completeness and correctness).
  • Provide ServiceNow Platform administration, configuration, and development following Agile processes and using industry best practices.
  • Provide and lead ServiceNow patching, upgrades, and applications deployments to ensure compliance with the current ServiceNow platform.
  • Identify and provide solutions to automate manual processes including data validation.
  • Provide support in managing the ServiceNow environments (Dev, Test and Production).
  • Provide services and support reports.
  • Develop KPI, Dashboard, and Web Page development and implementation as needed.
  • All other duties as assigned or directed.

Skills Requirements:

FOUNDATION FOR SUCCESS (Basic Qualifications)

This experience is the foundation a candidate needs to be successful in this position:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or a related field.
  • Masters or Doctorate degree may substitute for required experience
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust. Contract requirement.
  • 7 years of experience as a ServiceNow Administrator/Engineer
  • 7 years of experience with IT Service Management, Operations Management and Change Management
  • 5 years of experience with ITAM and CMBD with Data Management focus
  • 5 years of experience with ServiceNow Implementation (applications, integrations, platforms, etc.)
  • ServiceNow System Administrator (CSA) Certification

  • Extensive background and knowledge of the ServiceNow platform providing administration tasks, provisioning, ticket research and response, reporting, and maintenance activities.
  • ServiceNow certifications: (e.g., Implementation Specialist in: Discovery, CMDB, Asset Management, Service Mapping, Event Management or Cloud Provisioning and Governance).
  • ITIL Certification.
  • Expertise in ServiceNow Platform.
  • Working knowledge of IT infrastructure environments (Mainframe, RHEL and Windows), networks, clustered and virtual storage solutions.
  • Experience working with network operating systems as well as programming or scripting languages.
