Job description

As System Medical Director, you will serve in a key leadership role across the Ascension St. John system while also providing direct medical leadership for the Emergency Department at Ascension St. John Medical Center's main campus. You will partner closely with hospital and nursing leadership, support physician teams, and help advance clinical and operational performance at both the site and system level.

In your system leadership role, you will provide oversight and leadership support to site-level Medical Directors across Ascension St. John Medical Center, St. John Sapulpa, St. John Broken Arrow, St. John Owasso, and St. John Jane Phillips Medical Center. You will help drive operational consistency, physician engagement, collaboration, and leadership development across the system.

As Medical Director for the Ascension St. John Medical Center main campus, you will provide direct leadership to the Emergency Medicine team, collaborating with hospital administration and nursing leadership to support quality, performance, and departmental operations.

Through USACS' model of shared ownership, you'll also have the opportunity to influence broader organizational decisions and help develop future physician leaders. USACS physicians benefit from the resources and security of a national group while maintaining the advantages and connection of a local Emergency Medicine practice.
