Position Title: Accounts Payable (AP) Assistant
Location: Irvine, CA
Reporting To: Accounts Payable Manager
Status: Non-Exempt, Full-Time
Salary: $20.00/Hourly

EMPLOYEE OWNER POSITION PURPOSE:
The AP Assistant provides high-level support and service to the AP Specialists. This position is responsible for assisting in all areas of AP including, but not limited to: scanning a high volume of invoices, research, and special projects as assigned by the AP Manager.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
โ€ข Perform quality work within deadlines under limited supervision
โ€ข Interact professionally with the direct team and all levels of our organization
โ€ข Coordinate efforts with others and maintain effective communication
โ€ข Identify opportunities for process improvement
โ€ข Prioritize and juggle multiple projects at once, particularly during month and year-end
โ€ข Other duties and special projects as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
โ€ข General Accounting knowledge
โ€ข Strong verbal and written communication
โ€ข Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced deadline environment while managing multiple-tasks
โ€ข Proficient MS Office skills (i.e. Excel), paired with comfort quickly mastering new software programs
โ€ข High degree of attention to detail and accuracy
โ€ข Ultimate professionalism, interpersonal, customer service, and teamwork skills
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
โ€ข Use standard office equipment, including: computer, phone, copier/scanner, etc.
โ€ข Be stationary for periods of time
โ€ข Relocate up to (25) pounds
