Position Title: Lead Wealth Advisor
Salary Range: $125,000-$185,000 Base / Year, DOE + Revenue Share
This is a rare opportunity for an accomplished wealth advisor to step into an established book of business and build long-term relationships with clients who already value thoughtful, comprehensive financial guidance. The Lead Wealth Advisor will become the primary advisor for approximately 200 established client relationships representing roughly $160 million in assets under management, guiding clients through retirement, investment, tax, and estate planning while working through a structured transition with a retiring senior advisor. The ideal candidate is a seasoned CFP® professional who combines deep technical expertise with emotional intelligence, credibility and a genuine commitment to fiduciary service. This person knows how to earn trust quickly, lead sophisticated client conversations, and collaborate with a team without bringing ego into the room.
Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary wealth advisor for an established portfolio of client households and develop trusted, long-term relationships with clients and their families
  • Lead client meetings and deliver comprehensive advice across retirement, investment, tax and estate planning
  • Build meaningful relationships with spouses, beneficiaries and next-generation family members to support continuity across generations
  • Navigate a thoughtful succession process alongside a retiring senior advisor, learning existing relationships, preferences and financial strategies before assuming primary responsibility
  • Deliver proactive, highly personalized service while identifying opportunities to strengthen financial plans, improve efficiencies and enhance the overall client experience
  • Collaborate closely with associate advisors, client service professionals, operations, and compliance to ensure clients receive seamless support
  • Maintain a fiduciary-first approach while confidently managing a substantial portfolio of sophisticated client relationships

Requirements
  • 8+ years of financial planning and wealth management experience with the maturity and expertise to independently lead complex client conversations
  • Active CFP® designation required
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Demonstrated success managing high-net-worth client relationships with the capacity to actively manage 75-100+ clients
  • Strong knowledge of financial planning, retirement strategies, taxation and investment management
  • Exceptional communication, relationship-building and client service skills with the ability to establish credibility and rapport quickly
  • Strong technology aptitude with Excel proficiency and experience working with custodians such as Schwab and Fidelity; familiarity with Salesforce, Black Diamond, RightCapital or similar wealth management platforms is valuable

Benefits
  • Total compensation potential around $240,000 based on the established book of business, with quarterly revenue-share payments
  • 100% employer-paid employee medical coverage, with additional plan and HSA options
  • Employer 401(k) contribution
  • Flexible PTO structure at the advisor level along with company holidays and additional time off throughout the year
  • Established client portfolio providing the opportunity to focus immediately on relationship management, planning and long-term client impact

If you are an experienced CFP® who wants to inherit meaningful client relationships, deliver sophisticated advice and build the next chapter of your career with an established independent wealth management firm, apply today.
