Job description

The Wealth Management Portfolio Manager is responsible for constructing and managing discretionary investment portfolios for high-net-worth individuals and institutions. This position has responsibility for leading the development of the investment strategy for new and existing clients. Additionally, this position supports Private Bankers and Trust Officers on all Investment Management & Trust sales opportunities and client relationship review meetings.


  • Design, construct, and manage client investment portfolios in line with clients’ financial goals.
  • Execute trades and rebalance portfolios to maintain optimal asset allocation.
  • Complete investment and client reviews annually or as required.
  • Communicate with clients to understand their financial objectives and explain investment strategies and performance.
  • Monitor investment performance of portfolios and adjust as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with the relevant regulations and company’s standards.
  • Collaborate with the investment team and other internal partners to enhance the client experience.
  • Monitor and analyze financial markets, trends, and economic indicators.
  • Continually build a network of internal and external sources to acquire new client relationships.
  • Stay informed on legal and regulatory changes affecting investment management.
  • Drive business results and acquire new assets, both from existing client base and new client acquisition.
  • Actively participate in community activities and events with purpose of visibility in the community and prospects.



  • Undergraduate degree in business related field or equivalent experience.
  • Preferred degree or designations, MBA, CFA, CIMA, and/or CFP certification.
  • Five plus years investment management or investment advisory experience.
  • Deep knowledge of investment strategies including alternative investments.
  • Detailed understanding of performance measurement concepts and methodologies.
  • Strong knowledge of investment management and wealth planning concepts.
  • Proven track record in cultivating new and existing client relationships.
  • Good interpersonal skills to represent the bank positively in dealing with clients.
  • Excellent analytical, quantitative, verbal, and written communication skills.

  • Must be able to pass a criminal background & credit check
  • This is a full-time, non-remote position
