Overview

Milton Rents (a division of Milton CAT) is seeking a reliable individual to assist the Controller with the functions of the Accounting Department including assisting with the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions and to provide backup to the administrative assistant.

Pay Range: $19.00-$23.00 per hour. This is an hourly position. Hours are 8am-5pm Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

Process customer payments and contact delinquent accounts for payment. Enter vendor invoices and management of related paperwork. Daily post office/bank runs, office supply purchases, A/R and A/P filing. Ensure all insurance documentation is valid and entered into our accounting system. Process customer sales tax exemption forms. Reconcile billing items. Assist Inside Sales team with overflow of customer calls. Assist the Controller with projects as needed.

Qualifications

A high-school diploma or Grade Equivalency Diploma (GED) is required for this job. Associates or higher in accounting preferred. Two years of experience in an office / clerical position. Excellent phone, verbal and written skills. Working knowledge of office equipment such as computers, copiers, fax machine. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. General accounting knowledge. Valid driver license with clean driving record required.
