Job description

CLARITY VOICE
SALES DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE (SDR) | Growth Path to AE
THE PERSON
Are you a modern SDR who blends creativity with discipline: sharp targeting, great messaging, and relentless follow-up? You'll own outbound that turns "not interested" into genuine curiosity and booked meetings. If you're excited by "vibecoding" your workflow, using AI tools, and rapidly testing messaging and sequences to improve results, you'll thrive here.
ABOUT CLARITY VOICE
With over 20 years of innovation, Clarity Voice is a pioneer in cloud communication solutions, providing industry-leading VoIP, cellular, texting, chat, contact center, and AI-powered tools that empower businesses to connect and grow. As a company built on cutting-edge technology and The Friction Free Advantage, we foster a dynamic and rewarding workplace where your contributions drive real impact. Join us in a flexible, growth-oriented environment that values work-life balance and career advancement while shaping the future of business communications.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Generate qualified pipeline through daily outbound prospecting (calls, email, LinkedIn, and other channels).

  • Research and identify target accounts and the right contacts within those accounts.

  • Create compelling hooks and run structured outreach sequences that drive replies, conversations, and meetings.

  • Proactively source and "recruit conversations" with currently employed SDRs and other high performers on LinkedIn and beyond.

  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads based on fit, needs, urgency, and buying process.

  • Book qualified meetings and demos for Account Executives and ensure clean handoffs with strong notes and context.

  • Maintain accurate CRM activity, notes, dispositions, and next steps.
Partner with Marketing to test messaging, offers, and campaigns and provide feedback from the market.

  • Collaborate with Sales leadership and Account Executives on targeting, account strategy, and meeting quality.

  • Continuously improve conversion rates from outreach to meeting set to meeting held.

QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
  • 1+ years in an SDR, BDR, inside sales, recruiting, or other quota-driven role (or equivalent proven performance).

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including confidence on the phone.

  • Comfort with high volume outbound activity and professional follow-up.

  • Experience using a CRM and sales tools, or the ability to learn quickly.

  • Highly organized with strong time management in a remote environment.

Preferred:
  • SaaS, telecommunications, or technology sales experience.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Salesforce (or similar CRM), LinkedIn, and modern sales tools.

  • Experience selling into automotive, dealerships, franchises, or multi-location businesses.

  • Proven track record of exceeding activity targets and booking high quality meetings.

WORKSITE
  • We are open to hybrid or fully remote candidates. Those local to Southfield, MI will work from our HQ office up to 3 days per week.

  • All candidates should have a dedicated home office space and strong internet connection.

  • Occasional travel for conferences, team meetings, or company events (approximately 5 to 7% of the year).

OUR VALUES AND WHY YOU'LL THRIVE:
Our culture sets us apart:
  • Dedicated: Do what is needed to get done, even if it means going above and beyond

  • Continuous Improvement: Be willing to evaluate and seek to be better

  • Serve Before Gain: Assist without expecting a return on your personal investment

  • Humbly Confident: Be self-assured but know when to ask for help

  • Seek to Understand: Appreciate another's perspective before sharing your own
