Are you someone who enjoys helping others by fielding a variety of calls ranging from simple website registration login questions to providing technical support for multiple software applications? The Customer Contact Center Representative will become a member of a hardworking, enthusiastic, and dynamic team serving as the front line of support for the company via phone, fax and e-mail.

Job Title: Customer Contact Center Representative
Reports To: Vice President of Customer Experience and Operations
Group: Operations – Customer Contact Center
FLSA Status: Non-exempt
Compensation: $21 to $23 per pay hour

Responsibilities:

Customer Interaction:

  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email.
  • Use Slack to communicate with the team and other supporting departments.
  • Answer a high volume of calls on a daily basis.
  • Assist customers with website and software navigation.
  • Pre-screen phone calls for legal hotline attorneys.
  • Follow up with customers via email in a timely manner.
  • Document each call in CRM accordingly.

Administrative / Team and/or Company Meetings:

  • Continually learn about Association programs and communicate them accurately to customers.
  • Complete special projects for the department as necessary.[PD2]
  • Attend team and/or company meetings via zoom and offsite as required.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma
  • 3-5 years' experience in a call center dealing with a high volume of incoming calls
  • High level of computer literacy and proficiency with MS Word, Outlook, Windows, Chrome and Microsoft Edge
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and type 40 wpm
  • Commitment to outstanding customer/member service

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • Intermediate to advanced level in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

  • Ability to function effectively in a variety of challenging situations and circumstances, including difficult project deadlines, demanding customers, tight budgets, and evolving goals and objectives.
  • Ability to work effectively with co-workers, customers and others by sharing ideas in a constructive and positive manner.
