Marketing Advisor - North

Join a multidisciplinary marketing team at a dynamic, woman-owned transportation and logistics leader based in McDonough, GA. The Bennett Family of Companies is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Marketing Advisor to join our team. As the Marketing Advisor-North, you’ll coordinate diverse marketing efforts, from event planning and content creation to social media engagement and public relations for Ace Doran as well as regional operations for Bennett Business Units located in the north/northeast region of the US. This high-energy, organized, multi-tasker must work well autonomously and within a corporate team of marketers, designers, web and video producers who collectively support 14 affiliated operating companies. This position reports to the Field Marketing Manager for the Bennett Family of Companies.

Job Duties

Job duties will include 50% effort to Ace Doran and 50% effort to Bennett Corporate initiatives and northern regional activities from other business units.

Social Media & Content

  • Manage Ace Doran social media accounts (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok).
  • Create and schedule engaging content, including posts, videos, and stories.
  • Capture photos and videos of trucks, drivers, and company events.
  • Create marketing strategies to increase Ace Doran footprint in specific markets Cincinnati, Cleveland, Indianapolis, Louisville, Lexington, Pittsburgh, etc outlining our capabilities.

Digital & Print Marketing

  • Design flyers, advertisements, banners, and recruiting materials.
  • Assist with website updates on Acedoran.com, including driver stories, o/o and fleet driving job postings.
  • Prepare materials and signage for events, trade shows, and driver appreciation week.
  • Create and assist with PowerPoint Presentations

Recruiting & Driver Engagement Support

  • Promote open positions through online platforms and social media campaigns.
  • Develop driver testimonials and success stories.
  • Organize appreciation gifts, branded merchandise, and giveaways.

Event Coordination

  • Support the Ace Doran team during company events.
  • Assist with event planning, setup, registration, and live coverage (photos, updates).

Market Research & Reporting

  • Track marketing campaign performance and engagement metrics.
  • Assist with Hubspot CRM data entry and lead follow-up.

Corporate Initiatives

  • Bennett Motorsports program. Campaign support for annual racing schedule.
  • HubSpot best practices for email marketing, social media, lead tracking

Regional Business Unit Support

  • Work with the strategic marketing manager to execute marketing plans to support business objectives including:
  • Public Relations: Craft press releases, award submissions, and news stories and share them with the media and internal stakeholders.
  • Marketing Boots on the Ground: Assist in finding business unit needs amongst teams providing logistics, and trucking services in the Midwest and Northeast. Conduct meetings with business units, document needs, and report them to marketing management.
  • Sales Support: Craft PowerPoint presentations to showcase our strengths and capabilities for client meetings and new business pitches.
  • Email/Text Marketing. Assist in maintaining our email marketing platform, HubSpot CRM for the purpose of sending communications to prospects, customers, and employees.
  • Reporting: Assist with tracking and reporting on the effectiveness of campaigns and communications efforts using KPI’s, making data-driven recommendations for improvement.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate cross-functionally with design, web, and video production teams to ensure consistent messaging and brand presentation across all marketing materials.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a marketing or event planning role.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Proficient in digital marketing tools. Canva/Creative Suite, PowerPoint, working with AI.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently on multiple projects to meet deadlines.
  • Strong project management abilities with an emphasis on meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable interacting with all levels of staff, from C-Suite executives to operational teams, as well as blue-collar employees.
  • Available to work flexible hours before, during and after events.
  • Experience coordinating events, symposiums, and tradeshows
  • Social Media posting, management and reporting experience
  • Excellent project management, attention to detail and communication skills
  • Transportation and Logistics industry experience a plus
