Hours: 80 Hours per 2-Week Pay Period

Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to support providers in delivering exceptional patient care in a Primary Care Clinic. The CMA will perform both clinical and administrative duties while assisting with patient flow and providing quality care to patients of all ages.


Responsibilities

  • Room patients, obtain vital signs, medical histories, and prepare patients for provider examinations.
  • Administer immunizations, injections, medications, and treatments under provider direction.
  • Collect laboratory specimens, perform phlebotomy, and assist with basic clinic laboratory testing.
  • Assist with prescription refills, patient phone calls, prior authorizations, and provider communication.
  • Support front desk operations, patient scheduling, and maintain clinic supplies.
  • Maintain accurate EMR documentation while ensuring HIPAA compliance.
  • Collaborate with providers and the healthcare team to deliver outstanding patient care.


Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant Program (ABHES or CAAHEP) or accredited Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) program.
  • Previous clinical experience required.
  • Current BLS Certification required.
