Torch Technologies is seeking an EW Test Manager to join a team to assist the 388th Electronic Warfare Squadron (388 EWS), 350th Spectrum Warfare Wing (350 SWW) at Eglin AFB, Florida. The 350 SWW is the technical focal point for all electronic warfare (EW) support of warfighter systems for the Combat Air Forces (CAF). The mission of the 350 SWW is to develop and test mission data (MD) to defeat enemy radar and infrared guided missile systems, thus enhancing aircrew and aircraft survivability in combat. This mission includes operational EW testing, MD development/validation/verification, force development evaluation execution and facilitating foreign materiel exploitation.

As an EW Test Manager, your duties will include the following, but are not limited to:

  • Provide Developmental and Operational Test and Evaluation Management support for 350 SWW test, TTP development, and capability fielding activities in accordance applicable regulations and guidance.

  • Coordinate tasking and documentation with MAJCOM staffs, ACC/A3T staff for TIP/TTPs and ACC/A5T staff for T&E and fielding.

  • Manage and work within the 350 SWW for the development of test orders, test design, test plans, analysis, and reporting.

  • Maintain repository of T&E knowledge and artifacts.

In coordination with other Air Force test entities, develop and maintain standard test products for 350 SWW test support operations, including:

  • EMSO-specific test products such as hardware and software requirements associated with novel waveforms.

  • Act as OPR for scheduling of SWW participation in EW T&E consortium, Developmental Test Working Group, and other T&E-related forums.

  • Manage the Test Qualification program for 350 SWW organizations.

  • Coordinate with test and test support organizations outside of 350 SWW as required to support 350 SWW test objectives and requirements.

Required Qualifications:

  • U.S. Citizenship

  • Bachelors' degree with at least 12 years of relevant experience; higher level education with fewer years of relevant experience may be substituted depending on totality of experience.

  • Possess a demonstrated ability to recognize and analyze problems, conduct research, summarize results, and make appropriate recommendations.

  • Applicants must have a working knowledge of computer systems and an understanding of Windows-based personal computers and Microsoft Office software.

  • The successful candidate will possess the ability to communicate effectively both orally and written as well as the drive to help develop the test architecture they are tasked with supporting.

  • A Secret Clearance is required at hire; candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Operational and or Developmental Test for any aircraft in any service; includes flying the testbed, developing/writing test plans, and/or conducting engineering assessments of test results.

  • Operational EW experience on any CAF platform.If not, experience in USAF operational employment of Airpower, or similar combat arms experience is suitable for the position.

  • Previous experience in RF integration, EM spectrum management, antenna design, and digital signal processing is desired;

  • Also desired is knowledge of EW weapons systems development, test and evaluation, range operations, and systems engineering.
