Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test equipment
- Develop and maintain automated test software using National Instruments LabVIEW and related tools
- Develop and maintain test frameworks using Java.
- Review test specifications for completeness and accuracy.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to test equipment, software, and test methodologies.
- Analyze test data and production yields to identify trends, root causes of failures, and areas for improvement.
- Recommend and implement improvements to existing test equipment and processes to increase efficiency, accuracy, and throughput.
- Collaborate with design, development, and manufacturing teams to ensure testability and quality throughout the product lifecycle.
- Participate in product design reviews and provide input on "Design for Test" and "Design for Manufacturing".
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, military specifications, and quality assurance procedures.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a test engineering role, preferably within the defense or aerospace industry.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment across multiple engineering and tooling disciplines.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance, requiring US Citizenship.
Preferred:
- Demonstrated proficiency in developing and maintaining test automation using National Instruments LabVIEW.
- Strong programming skills in Java for test script development and automation.
- Experience with various test equipment, including oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, power supplies, and data acquisition systems.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and system specifications.
- Experience working in a high-volume production environment.
- Experience with statistical tools for data analysis and visualization.
