Job Description

QA Test Coordinator III, 6-10 years experience

Reason for Request: Under the general supervision of a Project Lead, The Testing Coordinator plans, organizes and leads the Customer Testing activities for the upgrade project.

Scope for QA Resource:

  1. Plan, organize and lead the testing kick-off meeting
  2. Establish and document the testing process - i.e. scripts location, how to report defects, what needs to be included when reporting defects, the overall testing process with roles and responsibilities.
  3. Create the test schedule (tasks, dependencies and assigned team members)
  4. Administer the project in the test management system
  5. Work with RA IT and Marketing to create Testing scripts for User Acceptance Testing
  6. Setup and loading of test scripts into Quality Center
  7. Training of how to use Quality Center
  8. Provide input into the UAT communication(s)
  9. Manage defect tracking and re-assign the testing tasks, as required Verify reported issues before assigning for resolution
  10. Reporting. Track testing with respect to the test plan and the project schedule and report to project team.
  11. Check the status of each assigned task daily and resolve any issues faced by the team members with their tasks Areas to be tested
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • At least 4 years of experience with Information Technologies
