Department: GL6 Test & Reliability Engineering
Employment Type: Full Time

Reporting To: Aaron Lemkau
Description
FII USA, Inc., a Foxconn Technology Group Company, is seeking a Test Technician that will work as testing team to perform failure analysis and troubleshooting on test issues. Once a part of the testing team, you will be responsible for a wide variety of tasks within the testing department in a production environment and have the opportunity to display critical thinking skills to expand your career in Smart Manufacturing.
The Test Technician will troubleshoot and fix sustaining production test issues and assist this Testing Department as needed.
Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and fix sustaining production test issues that need to be escalated from Repair Technicians and report to Test Engineers.
  • Troubleshoot and repair fixtures
  • Monitor and maintain testing station performance
  • Create standard operating procedures for operators and testers for manufacturing test.
  • Document testing procedures and update SOPs for testing operations
  • Help create and maintain records for issues and failures faced as part of test.
  • Assist Test Engineers with test station setup and other processes including modeling, pre-pilot, and pilot runs.
  • Other Duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • 0-2 year's minimum experience in printed circuit board assembly processes, methodologies, standards, and best practices
  • High School Diploma/GED Required
  • Ability to read test logs.
  • Basic understanding of Linux/UNIX
  • Ability to work with switches network equipment etc.
  • Some experience with computer hardware like CPUs, NIC, and Memory etc.
  • Experience with schematic and diagram
  • Familiar with electrical components
  • Must be able to adapt to stressful situations and complete projects under tight deadlines.
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds throughout shift.
  • Requires walking, standing, repetitive bending and some climbing.
  • Work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks, which require following basic safety precautions.
  • Specific vision abilities are required including; close and distance vision, the ability to identify colors, hand/eye coordination, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
