LOCATION: Redstone Arsenal, Alabama
JOB STATUS: Full-time
CLEARANCE: Secret
TRAVEL: 25%
Astrion in searching for a Test Analyst/Engineer focused on the end-to-end testing of new and emerging technologies for the U.S. Army Portfolio Acquisition Executive - Fires, Integrated Fires Directorate at Redstone Arsenal, Alabama.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
  • Bachelors of Science (BS) degree in related discipline
  • At least 10 years of applicable experience
  • Must currently possess an active and transferable DoD security clearance with current investigation
  • Prospective Test Analyst/Engineers should be creative, have good problem-solving skills, and work well under stressful situations.
  • Experience in the T&E of U.S. Army Air and Missile Defense Systems

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
  • In depth knowledge of U.S. Army Integrated Air and Missile Defense (AIAMD) System capability
  • In depth knowledge of the AIAMD requirements process
  • In depth knowledge of Army test planning, processes and execution
  • In depth knowledge of Integrated Battle Command Station architecture and interoperability
  • Self-motivated; possess strong oral and written communication skills, and have the ability to work effectively in a dynamic team environment
  • Proficient with Windows-based PC software (e.g. Word, PowerPoint, Excel, MS Teams)

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Coordinating across Portfolio Acquisition Executive-Fires and Army test community in the identification and completion of all test and regulatory requirements IAW test plans and procedures
  • Completing requirements verification and validation documentation and reports
  • Creating test plans and detailed step-by-step test procedures to satisfy requirements
  • Supporting the Test Director in the execution of highly complex tests according to approved procedures
  • Ensuring customer requirements are met by analyzing data to determine customer satisfaction
  • Developing mitigation strategies for identified issues and following up to ensure problems are resolved
  • Providing timely information and periodic reports pertaining to the overall status of all assigned projects
  • Participating in integrated product teams in formulating, establishing and coordinating customer requirements
  • Developing and delivering briefings to senior stakeholders across all project phase
  • Other duties as assigned.
