Position Overview 

This position is primarily responsible for managing recruiting activities across JAM Best One while also supporting a variety of HR functions including benefits administration, compensation, safety, and HR documentation. The incumbent coordinates candidate management, interview scheduling, and onboarding processes for multiple positions, while also supporting employee benefits administration, compensation benchmarking, HR documentation, as well as both safety and training compliance tracking. This position works closely with operational leadership, employees, and the Champion of HR & People Services to support talent acquisition and overall HR operations across all locations.

Requirements:
  • Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Safety Management, or related field preferred, but not required. 
  • Preferred 1 year of experience in recruiting, human resources, or related field.
  • Knowledge of recruiting best practices, candidate assessment techniques, and interview processes.
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to interact professionally with candidates, employees, and leadership.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ability to learn HRIS and other software platforms.
  • Detail-oriented with strong follow-through and ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Must have a current valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record.

The ability to work a full shift, come to work on time, and work according to the necessary schedule to meet job requirements with or without reasonable accommodation is an essential function of this position. 


Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to sit for long periods of time, stand for short periods, and walk short distances.
  • Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull, or otherwise move objects weighing 10 pounds on a regular basis and up to 25 pounds occasionally.
  • Must have ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards, which requires substantial repetitive movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. The employee is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.
  • Ability to travel domestically as needed.
