Position Overview

InCore Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team in Tenafly, New Jersey. This full-time position offers the opportunity to utilize your clinical expertise to deliver exceptional patient care. As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for evaluating patients, developing personalized treatment plans, and implementing therapeutic interventions aimed at improving functional mobility and overall recovery.

Work Environment

This role will primarily take place onsite in our outpatient office, where you will work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals. The clinic is designed to create a welcoming atmosphere for patients, ensuring comfort and confidentiality during their recovery process. Our modern facility includes private treatment rooms, rehabilitation areas, and state-of-the-art equipment to enhance the therapeutic experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Assessment & Diagnosis: You will perform comprehensive evaluations to assess each patient's physical conditions, including range of motion, strength, balance, and functional limitations.
  • Individualized Treatment Plans: Based on your assessments, you will develop evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each patient’s specific needs and recovery goals.
  • Hands-On Therapy & Modalities: You will implement a range of therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and modalities such as ultrasound or electrical stimulation to facilitate recovery.
  • Patient & Family Education: Educate patients and their families on proper movement techniques, preventive strategies, and personalized home exercise programs to promote continued progress.
  • Progress Monitoring & Documentation: Maintain meticulous records of patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to reflect changes in patient status, and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
Patient Population / Client Focus

At InCore Physical Therapy, you will work primarily with an orthopedic patient population. This includes individuals recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Your expertise in orthopedic rehabilitation will be invaluable in guiding patients toward regaining their mobility, strength, and functional independence.

Qualifications
  • Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) in the State of New Jersey.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy; Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master’s in Physical Therapy (MPT) from an accredited institution.
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities will facilitate effective collaboration within the healthcare team.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in a physical therapy setting, preferably with a focus on orthopedic rehabilitation.
Preferred Experience
  • Previous experience in an outpatient clinic setting.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in evidence-based practice and a strong knowledge of orthopedic rehabilitation techniques.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary between $100,000 and $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
