Job description

We are hiring substitutes in the Confluence Academy School District for the 26-27 school year! No previous experience is required!

Remember that educator who made a difference in your life? Now it’s your turn! Substituting is an excellent opportunity to be a mentor and help students become the best versions of themselves. Substitutes are essential in ensuring students continue to learn and grow every day.
Substitute teachers may also be referred to as substitute educator, guest teacher, or relief teacher. Substitute aides may also be referred to as paraprofessionals, education technicians, teacher’s aide, instructional assistant, classroom assistant or education assistant.

Substituting is rewarding. We would love for you to join our team.

Minimum Requirements:
• 18+ years of age
• 36 college credit hours or high school diploma and completion of substitute training course
• Kelly offers the substitute Pathways Substitute Training course for candidates without the 36 college credit hours Missouri Substitute Certification Process

Substitute Pay Rates:
• Substitute Teachers: $200-$225 per day
• Substitute Teachers (Long Term 15+ days): $225-$235 per day
• Paraprofessionals/Teacher Assisants: $20-$21 per hour

Responsibilities and Job Description(s):
• Assume duties of the district employee in accordance with school district lesson plans, school rules, and Kelly policies
• Empower students to learn, and encourage classroom participation
• For long-term teacher assignments, it may be required to develop lessons plans, as well as build, administer, and grade tests and assignments
