School Information:

Located in Baton Rouge, LA, Inspire Charter Academy has outperformed the local school district on the state report card. Opening our doors in 2010 and serving students K-8, we create endless opportunities for our students to become their best. We even have a Booked and Busy Business Club to build entrepreneurial mindsets and financial know-how for our middle schoolers. Some of our students have also been honored as nominees for the Louisiana Student of the Year program. We inspire our students to excel academically and think creatively to reach their full potential. Our dedicated teachers help students apply critical-thinking skills to solve real-world problems. We build kids of character through our moral focus program. As a result, students are prepared to tackle 21st century challenges and excel in high school, college, and beyond.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assess student abilities and provide instructional assistance for students in need of academic intervention through 1:1 or group workshops as directed by the classroom teacher and designated instructional leader.

  • Commit to educating the whole student - academically, morally, and socially.

  • Implement result-driven curriculum to achieve significant growth from fall to spring testing.

  • Attend professional development and articulation meetings with classroom teachers and parents as required.


Qualifications:
Must meet state requirements for being a Title 1 paraprofessional.
