Position Overview

Triplex Plating Co., Inc. is seeking a reliable and hardworking individual for a 90-day temporary contract position to assist with exterior property maintenance and interior cleaning of a newly constructed facility.

This role will help prepare and maintain our new building by keeping the property clean, organized, and presentable while final setup and operational activities are underway.

Responsibilities

  • Perform exterior property maintenance, including:
    • Picking up debris and trash
    • Sweeping walkways and parking areas
    • Light landscaping and grounds cleanup
    • General upkeep of outdoor areas
  • Assist with interior building cleaning, including:
    • Sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping floors
    • Cleaning windows, walls, and surfaces
    • Removing construction dust and debris
    • Maintaining cleanliness in workspaces and common areas
  • Assist with basic facility setup tasks as needed
  • Move light materials or equipment within the building
  • Maintain safe working conditions and follow company safety policies

Qualifications

  • Ability to perform physical work including standing, bending, lifting, and walking for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 4050 lbs
  • Reliable transportation and strong attendance
  • Ability to work independently and follow instructions
  • Previous maintenance, janitorial, or facility cleaning experience preferred but not required

Additional Details

  • This is a temporary 90-day contract position
  • Opportunity to gain experience working in a manufacturing environment
  • All tools and cleaning supplies will be provided

Consistent exposure to extreme temperatures (hot and cold), dust, odors, fumes in door and outdoor. Noise level is moderate to loud.

  • May also engage in frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing and pulling of production equipment
