Job description

Textile Machine Operator (Temp-to-Perm Opportunity | 1st Shift Available)

Adecco is partnering with a leading textile manufacturing organization to identify Warp Beam Tiers who will play a critical role in supporting weaving operations, ensuring proper beam setup, and maintaining production efficiency. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity within a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.


Key Responsibilities:

Unload empty beams and replace them with full beams using a motorized warp truck.
Tie warp beam ends to existing warp ends on knitting machines and/or weaving looms using proper knotting techniques.
Ensure warp ends are tied straight and aligned to support efficient machine operation.
Assist with creel changes, including removing and placing yarn as needed.
Support overall weaving operations to maintain consistent production flow.
Maintain clean and organized equipment and work areas.
Follow all safety procedures, including use of required personal protective equipment such as earplugs and safety goggles.
Report unsafe conditions, incidents, or equipment issues to the supervisor immediately.
Support team operations and perform additional duties as assigned by leadership.


Qualifications:

Previous experience in textile manufacturing or machine operations preferred.
Knowledge of warp tying or weaving processes is a plus.
Ability to learn and perform knotting techniques accurately.
Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and efficiency.
Ability to follow instructions, safety guidelines, and standard operating procedures.
Dependable team player with strong communication skills.


Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift, push, and move beams and materials as required for production.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
Ability to operate or learn to operate a motorized warp truck.
Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with noise, moving equipment, and exposure to materials such as yarn and lint.

Pay Details: $15.00 to $18.00 per hour
