Job Overview

We are hiring an experienced Production Manager to lead daily operations in a fast-paced flag and banner manufacturing facility specializing in embroidery, sewing, assembly, and textile finishing.

This role oversees production performance, workforce supervision, scheduling, and quality control while ensuring efficient material flow and on-time delivery. The ideal candidate has strong experience in embroidery or textile manufacturing and has directly managed 20+ production employees in a hands-on manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily sewing, assembly, embroidery, and finishing operations for flags and banners
  • Supervise and lead a production team of 20+ employees, including scheduling, staffing, and performance management
  • Develop and execute production schedules and plans to meet delivery deadlines and minimize material shortages
  • Monitor production output, efficiency, and quality standards across all manufacturing processes
  • Collaborate with customer service and sales teams to identify, investigate, and resolve quality issues
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in banner and flag assembly and finishing processes
  • Ensure smooth material flow and support continuous improvement in production operations
  • Perform additional duties as needed in a manufacturing environment

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience in embroidery, textile manufacturing, or sewn goods production (flags, banners, apparel, or similar products)
  • Direct experience managing production teams of 20+ employees in a manufacturing setting
  • Strong background in production planning, scheduling, and material flow management
  • Hands-on experience in cut-and-sew, embroidery, or textile assembly operations
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (required for effective floor supervision and communication)
  • Strong leadership experience in a fast-paced production environment

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in flag, banner, embroidery, or textile signage manufacturing
  • Demonstrated success in improving production efficiency, reducing shortages, or increasing output
  • Stable work history in manufacturing or production leadership roles

Work Environment & Location

  • Full-time, onsite role in Dover, NJ (07801)
  • Active manufacturing floor environment with production deadlines and team-based coordination
  • Candidates within a 30–45 minute commute preferred (local hiring priority)
