As a Driving Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas at a construction-related location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to alarms and access concerns, communicate professionally with personnel and visitors, and provide customer-focused service. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access requirements, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of construction areas, temporary facilities, entry points, equipment storage areas, and the property perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating observations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Help protect construction materials, tools, and equipment by reporting unauthorized access, damaged fencing, lighting concerns, and other security-related conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
  • Loss prevention experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
